The real truth of the matter was that the biscuits needed nothing. I tried The Hulk, Ring of Fire, but my favorite was the banana buffalo which I had in conjunction with my fried chicken gravy. And, too, plenty of hot sauces on the table. I loved the watermelon Basil jam and the cayenne pepper marmalade. Besides the gravies, there was a jam and butter bar. Why not? If we went into cardiac arrest, we were surrounded by two hospitals. My husband got the sausage gravy and we shared an order of the bacon of the day which was apple jalapeno. It was almost painful to narrow down the selection of gravies down to three. But this is the kind of food and service that can stand on its own without the ambiance. There is a little of church (a pew along a long table) and grandma's kitchen thrown in for kitschy fun. The tables are either slices of tree trunks or terrariums made of old windows. The decor of the Biltmore location is schoolhouse (the chairs) meets woodlands. This place is all about the buscuit-as big as a cat's head. On a recommendation from a friend, we stopped for breakfast at Buscuit Head (Biltmore Location in Doctor's Park) on our way to visit Biltmore for the day. I can only imagine how it would’ve been with only one location. I’m VERY thankful they have multiple locations because this place was packed! There was a huge line. A few locations have super small interiors and a menu that, as the name suggests, focuses on biscuits.
